A dating service where matching is based on people’s search history exists. You’re a serial killer. You go on a date with a writer.

Serial Killer: metaphorically, if you were to kill someone, how would you do it?

Writer: Air shot between the toes, it’ll look like a heart attack.

Serial Killer who is obviously in love already: *sucks in a breath* ok

Writer: how long would it take to die if you were to potentially stab someone in the guts

Serial killer: anywhere from 2 to 30 minutes

Writer, already bringing a ring out: *shaking* thanks

A++ addition

Writer: *shows the serial killer the murder scene they’re writing* babe, i’m not sure if this would actually work?

Serial killer: *kisses writer on the forehead and leaves, comes back later, a suspicious scent of blood coming off them* it works baby, you’re doing great

I LOVE THIS

Oh no, murder comedy is my jam

It’s so cute!

afhshdjd adorable

This is my kind of content LOL

Hestia– chopping and collecting firewood for the coming cold seasons, sorting family recipe books in the cupboard, unpacking wool socks and sweaters from their boxes

Apollo– savoring the last few weeks of summer heat, whistling tunes heard from the high school orchestra room in it’s new semester, putting together portfolios for art competitions just around the corner

Artemis– watching the moon soar higher and slower across the sky with each night, hiking the trails that will soon be soaked in rich warm colors, weekend girl scout camping trips

Hera– washing all the bedsheets, packing away bright sun dresses and sandals, fixing the healthiest school lunches for her kids

Hekate– becoming more and more excited for halloween, preparing samhain and lunar rituals, carving wands from tree branches fallen in high winds

Ares– finally getting back into a workout routine, planning carepackages for soldiers during thanksgiving

Demeter– busily preparing for the harvest, strolling through cemeteries to calm down after a long day of work, excitedly baking cinnamon and apple treats

Zeus– cloud gazing as the wind slowly picks up in strength, feeling in control as the new season sets in, smelling an oncoming storm without the humidity of summer

Athena– buckling down on schoolwork, laying outside with a book in the finally-cool breeze, becoming involved in upcoming political campaigns

Hades– leaving bundles of autumn flowers against headstones, visiting family now that everyone isn’t so busy, finally feeling alive again with the soon-to-be-autumn spirit

Aphrodite– scouting out the coziest cafes with a friend, treating herself to new dark lipsticks, tying the last of the blooming wildflowers into her hair

Hephaestus– hurriedly finishing house projects in preparation for the cold, smelling the heater turned on for the first time in months, crackling fire pits surrounded by blankets and log benches

Dionysus– visiting the best orchards and vineyards before they get busy, late movie nights with lovers, seasonal motivation towards mental health

Hermes– getting one last use out of an old kite, sending invitations to distant family for the holidays, being startled by the chilly wind and pulling his favorite scarf closer

Hypnos– lazily stargazing, cuddling into new flannel blankets, setting out nuts and seeds for the animals to gather before hibernation

fake myths meme // the dryad & the mermaid

she of the forest, she of the sea; made to serve different worlds and live vastly different lives. but the ocean calls to her and even more sweetly does her lover. just as the waves crash to the shore and pulls back, so she must return to her forest every dusk. and the mermaid weeps for her dryad, her song is one of longing and sailors often mistake it as a lure. “you are made of the earth and i, of salt, my darling but never have there been two souls more entwined.”

Things I’d like to see in historical characters

– a disabled girl! The only disabled character from historical fiction who’s name i can remember is Crutchie from Newsies. And that’s not even an actual name it’s just his only character trait. The helpless one, you know, who’s disabled. Disabled people have always existed, we are more than burdens, and we deserve to be in fiction we like! (Also characters who are affected by their disability but don’t need/want to “overcome it. Pls)

– another native girl! Preferably a girl as lovingly researched as kaya was, from a time and place i know nothing about. So i can learn about a whole new culture!

– a girl from around the same time, if not the same year, as Felicity, but from one of the northern colonies, maybe also from a less well off family than Felicity’s? I’m really fascinated by how much those two factors could change the way these characters lived

– a Harlem Renaissance girl! I’ve wanted this since i was a kid

– less nuclear families, different definition of “family” from throughout history would be fun!

– I’d say a ww1/spanish flu girl and an orphan train girl, but i already have those ocs lol whoops

– more latina girls would be cool, i feel like there’s a lot of history that hasn’t been explored there

Yes please
