As an Egyptologist, can verify. Here are the entries in the TLA Worterbuch to back me up:
“… cats, unlike dogs, were not given names. The only exception seems to be the cat in the tomb of Puimre at Thebes (TT 39), dated to the reign of Thutmose III (1479-1425 BC), which is called Nedjem (or Nedjemet, if female), ‘Sweet’ or ‘Pleasant;’ the figure of the cat is, unfortunately, almost completely lost.”
