Hestia– chopping and collecting firewood for the coming cold seasons, sorting family recipe books in the cupboard, unpacking wool socks and sweaters from their boxes

Apollo– savoring the last few weeks of summer heat, whistling tunes heard from the high school orchestra room in it’s new semester, putting together portfolios for art competitions just around the corner

Artemis– watching the moon soar higher and slower across the sky with each night, hiking the trails that will soon be soaked in rich warm colors, weekend girl scout camping trips

Hera– washing all the bedsheets, packing away bright sun dresses and sandals, fixing the healthiest school lunches for her kids

Hekate– becoming more and more excited for halloween, preparing samhain and lunar rituals, carving wands from tree branches fallen in high winds

Ares– finally getting back into a workout routine, planning carepackages for soldiers during thanksgiving

Demeter– busily preparing for the harvest, strolling through cemeteries to calm down after a long day of work, excitedly baking cinnamon and apple treats

Zeus– cloud gazing as the wind slowly picks up in strength, feeling in control as the new season sets in, smelling an oncoming storm without the humidity of summer

Athena– buckling down on schoolwork, laying outside with a book in the finally-cool breeze, becoming involved in upcoming political campaigns

Hades– leaving bundles of autumn flowers against headstones, visiting family now that everyone isn’t so busy, finally feeling alive again with the soon-to-be-autumn spirit

Aphrodite– scouting out the coziest cafes with a friend, treating herself to new dark lipsticks, tying the last of the blooming wildflowers into her hair

Hephaestus– hurriedly finishing house projects in preparation for the cold, smelling the heater turned on for the first time in months, crackling fire pits surrounded by blankets and log benches

Dionysus– visiting the best orchards and vineyards before they get busy, late movie nights with lovers, seasonal motivation towards mental health

Hermes– getting one last use out of an old kite, sending invitations to distant family for the holidays, being startled by the chilly wind and pulling his favorite scarf closer

Hypnos– lazily stargazing, cuddling into new flannel blankets, setting out nuts and seeds for the animals to gather before hibernation
