OH MY GOSH I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE TELL ME I CANT DO SOMETHING IT MAKES ME WANT TO SMACK THEM IN THE FACE AND PROVE THEM WRONG JUST FOR THE HECK OF IT

Yes, I love telling INFJs they won’t do something

Then they blow up and say all the ways they could but usually they close the argument with “I won’t because x y z” it’s really amusing

Exactly, either they do the thing you want them to do so who cares that they’re “right” or you make them really annoyed while simultaneously proving them wrong, so I am definitely going to keep doing this (though only if politely asking directly has failed).

This is so ridiculous and I’m laughing out loud because my INTJ best friend went to grad school because some random classmate he didn’t even like that much told him he wouldn’t get in, and then got a job completely unrelated to his field of studies because some other random dude told him he wouldn’t be good at it. It’s been 4 years and he’s still working in this other field.

Don’t manipulate me like that. Please.
